English
For my English portion I wanted to create an opinionated essay about transgender sex work in the United States. I planned to touch upon the most recent legislation put in place by Trump administration (Sesta and Fosta). These new bills were designed to eliminate sex traffic adds on certain interent platforms. Instead, this bill took away the sex workers ability to reconnect with vet clients and keep track of their fellow sex working friends. It took away their ability to stay safe and make sure they arent serving dangerous clients.
My essay highlights the importants of decriminalizing sex work in the US. Decriminalizing sex work will allow transgender sex workers to come forward if they need to without fear of extreme punishment.

Civics
For civics I decided to focus on identification documents as a transgender person. What kind of processes do trans individual have to go through to get gender coordinating documents? How does this process effect ones mental health?
Whenever people with inconsistent identity documents must show them, they are potentially outed as transgender, whether to an employer, clerk, police officer, or airport personnel. The anticipation of mistreatment due to gender non-concordant ID might also damage a person's mental health through vigilance, anxiety, and avoidance of social participation.
I decided to put my findings into a sway document. The sub topics I focused on were
1. Why is having fitting documentation important for the transgender community?
2. What is legal gender recognition and why is it so important?
3. The United States Approach
4. Mental Health inside the Trans Community
5. Adopting more accessible medical standards for trans individuals
6. What’s Wrong with Requiring Medical Diagnosis?

For my art project I decided to do a portrait of one of my closest friends. My friend is trans and felt comfortable with my drawing them. My incorporation of the thinking skill is quite simple. I wanted to create a piece relevant to my topic set in present day 2020.
I wanted to contrast the dysphoric feeling that surrounds trans people and their birthgender and dipict a very euphoric trans person. Someones
